Sad Confused ThumbDown
As a newbie I really can not get my head around the weather and RA. I have noticed every time the weather changes to damp, wet and cold I feel crap!! Today was at in-laws outside for only a hour, when it started to spit with rain, had little shoes, leggings on with bare ankles!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Now in absolute agony!! Both ankles feel like they've been pulled, steam rollered, and set on fire!!! Can't wait till I can have another pain killer. Anyway do any of you guys have any tips? Does the weather really effect you as well?
Hope to hear any words of wisdom.

Unquestionably the weather has an effect. God knows why but since the cause of our malaise is antigens in the sinoval fluid, I could speculate that air pressure may have an impact on the absorption. No pearls of wisdom about how to avoid it though apart from be prepared. I have pairs of gloves in the pocket of every jacket just in case :)

Hi Sarahkat sorry you are feeling so bad try and stay wrapped up warm until you feel better. I'm really sensitive to the cold/wet weather as well and never go anywhere without a coat, scarf, gloves etc... just in case. It can be a pain having extra stuff to carry round but I'd much rather that then get caught out. I even have a drawer at work with a hot water bottle and a pair of gloves for emergencies. My friends and family laugh at me but just like a boy scout I like to always be prepared BigGrin
